This dynamic or static address or range is, within the circumscription of the cited bulletin board, unavailable to conventional accessibility by any person or person(s) outside of the Alternate Reality Association management coterie and will only be used or applied in benignant situations exacting it.   Submissions and Guidelines

General

In submitting a synopsis or synopses for showcase, your (the user's) synops(i/e)s should be no brusquer than 15 words, preferably over 50 words and no more than 1000 words. In the case of what the staff considers exceptional synops(i/e)s these guidelines may be invalidated or vitiated. In submitting notes, concision is preferred, as concision is easily and effortlessly attainable when writing in brusque quantities. Notes will not be accepted if significantly over 100 words, with exceptions for spectacular observations. In quotes, quantities of quotes are preferred over a single quote, and quotes are added at the editor/co-editor's discretion and judgment; your quote may not be added to the database. Quotes should not exceed 10 instances of dialogue. Goofs if false will be removed, and should adhere to the same concision as notes. Goof submissions overstepping 200 words will not be accepted, while goofs with images will be added at the editor/co-editor's discretion and judgment due to the risk of spontaneous replacement or supersedure of the imagery contained therein. Analys(i/e)s should be succinct if possible, should not be less than 5 words, should preferably be over 30 and should not overstep 500. An analysis or analyses will not be approved if judged nonsensical or ludicrous, and should begin with a descriptive or parodistic heading. In the case of nonsupply, this heading shall be retitled "N/A" as enclosed by the quotation marks or decided upon by the staff. When submitting a cultural reference, the same guidelines for submitting an analys(i/e)s apply.

Fan Art

If you wish to submit fan art, it is recommended (but not required) you provide information for the fields AUTHOR, AUTHOR COMMENTS, DEPICTION, IMAGE NAME, PRIMARY TOOL/PROGRAM, and TYPE OF ART; AUTHOR is your (the user's) desired pseudonym and/or handle, and is limited amorphously to 35 letters inclusive of spaces. AUTHOR COMMENTS is limited to 20 words of conventional length with possible exceptions if convincing enough a case is made or the average length of each word diverges substantially from convention, and can encapsulate with brevity anything (within reasonable, both defined and undefined, limits) the author wishes to state. DEPICTION is the primary feature in the image and should be limited to 35 letters inclusive of spaces. IMAGE NAME is the titular, author-given name as opposed to filename, and should be no more than 35 letters (inclusive of spaces). PRIMARY TOOL/PROGRAM can range from Photoshop to paintbrush to pencil; it should be a brief and sensible statement of the tool prominently used in creation of your (the user's) work. TYPE OF ART can be either "digital" or "non-digital", depending on whether the art was created digitally or created external to digital computation (then imported digitally, usually with a scanner or digital camera/camcorder). If these are not specified in the submission of the art, they will be left to decide by our (KP TOME's) directorate, or listed as "undefined" if a decision is unable to be reached or is not evident. Your (the user's) fan art will (possibly) be rescaled to size twice; once as a thumbnail, which will be uploaded onto our (KP TOME's) maj.com image server, then secondly as a (possible) reduction in size using the appropriate hypertext markup if its (the image's) size exceeds the bounds and/or frames of the subpage. The server transition of the original image is a preventive security measure, as an offender can otherwise spontaneously replace the initial depiction with a malignant piece. Your (the user's) fan art should not exceed 5 MB, though in special cases exceptions (at the discretion of the management team) may be made. A link (URL) to the fan art piece must be included in the submission, which is preferred to enclosure in [IMG] tags as [IMG] tags slow down the page's loading time, though both are acceptable.

Fan Fiction

If you wish to submit fan fiction, it is recommended (but not required) you provide information for the fields AUTHOR, AUTHOR COMMENTS, DATE WRITTEN, and RATING. AUTHOR is your (the user's) desired pseudonym and/or handle, and is limited amorphously to 35 letters inclusive of spaces. AUTHOR COMMENTS is limited to 20 words of conventional length with possible exceptions if convincing enough a case is made or the average length of each word diverges substantially from convention, and can encapsulate with brevity anything (within reasonable, both defined and undefined, limits) the author wishes to state; if the author wishes to break free of this regulation, he/she may state anything he/she wishes (within reasonable limits defined in SUBSECTION 1 and at the discretion of the editor[s] and co-editor[s]) throughout, in closing, or at the beginning of the fiction. DATE WRITTEN is the completion date of the fanfiction itself; this will not be assessed for truth, and should be presented in the following format: (monthname) (space) (numerical date ranging from 1 to 31) (suffix [st, nd, rd, th]) (comma) (space) (year); in example, "August 11th, 2005". This format is not required, but your given date will be converted into this format in all cases. RATING is the rating you have supplied to your story, which, by submitting your fanfiction, you acknowledge and accept the (co-)editor(s) may modify if the rating submitted is expressly inaccurate. The rating system is that of the MPAA, and should be either G (GENERAL AUDIENCES), PG (PARENTAL GUIDANCE SUGGESTED), or PG-13 (PARENTS STRONGLY CAUTIONED). You vow you will not submit fiction with an NC-17 or R rating or a rating fringing on NC-17 or R as defined by the MPAA, and understand this to be conditional in submission. It is also requested (but not required) the SUMMARY field be repleted with an ephemeral outline of the fiction, which is minimally and maximally limited to 10 and 300 words respectively. All rules and constitutions pertaining to the SUMMARY field, outside of and discounting the numeral circumscription made clear in the preceding sentence, are selfsame to that of the AUTHOR COMMENTS field. The SUMMARY field will be subsumed within the fan fiction index. If these are not specified in the submission of the fiction, they will be left to decide by our (KP TOME's) directorate, or listed as "undefined" if a decision is unable to be reached or is not evident. There is no upper word limitation on fan fiction, though a fiction will not be accepted (with some exceptions) if in the relative proximity of 200 words. A link (URL) to the fan fiction piece, or alternatively the fan fiction piece itself, must be included in the submission.

Reviews

If you wish to submit reviews, it is recommended (but not required) you provide information for the fields AUTHOR, AUTHOR COMMENTS, and DATE WRITTEN. AUTHOR is your (the user's) desired pseudonym and/or handle, and is limited amorphously to 35 letters inclusive of spaces. AUTHOR COMMENTS is limited to 20 words of conventional length with possible exceptions if convincing enough a case is made or the average length of each word diverges substantially from convention, and can encapsulate with brevity anything (within reasonable, both defined and undefined, limits) the author wishes to state; if the author wishes to break free of this regulation, he/she may state anything he/she wishes (within reasonable limits defined in SUBSECTION 1 and at the discretion of the editor[s] and co-editor[s]) throughout, in closing, or at the beginning of the review. DATE WRITTEN is the completion date of the review itself; this will not be assessed for truth, and should be presented in the following format: (monthname) (space) (numerical date ranging from 1 to 31) (suffix [st, nd, rd, th]) (comma) (space) (year); in example, "August 11th, 2005". This format is not required, but your given date will be converted into this format in all cases. If these are not specified in the submission of the review, they will be left to decide by our (KP TOME's) directorate, or listed as "undefined" if a decision is unable to be reached or is not evident. There is no upper word limitation on reviews, though a review will not be accepted (with some exceptions) if in the relative proximity of 100 words. A link (URL) to the review, or alternatively the review itself, must be included in the submission.

Transcripts

If you wish to submit transcripts, it is recommended (but not required) you provide information for the fields TYPE, AUTHOR, AUTHOR COMMENTS, and DATE WRITTEN. TYPE is either "Closed Captioning" or "Aural", the former defining a secondhand transcript (in transcribing an existing transcript, which is the closed captioning) and the latter defining a firsthand transcript (content reflective of human judgment and interpretation). AUTHOR is your (the user's) desired pseudonym and/or handle, and is limited amorphously to 35 letters inclusive of spaces. AUTHOR COMMENTS is limited to 20 words of conventional length with possible exceptions if convincing enough a case is made or the average length of each word diverges substantially from convention, and can encapsulate with brevity anything (within reasonable, both defined and undefined, limits) the author wishes to state. DATE WRITTEN is the completion date of the transcript itself; this will not be assessed for truth, and should be presented in the following format: (monthname) (space) (numerical date ranging from 1 to 31) (suffix [st, nd, rd, th]) (comma) (space) (year); in example, "August 11th, 2005". This format is not required, but your given date will be converted into this format in all cases. If these are not specified in the submission of the transcript, they will be left to decide by our (KP TOME's) directorate, or listed as "undefined" if a decision is unable to be reached or is not evident. Interpolation of a transcript should only occur if the author decides to write in other aural stimuli, including, but not limited to, sound effects, music or background noise. A link (URL) to the transcript, or alternatively the transcript itself, must be included in the submission.
