The girls of Middleton are going crazy for the hottest boy band in the land - the Oh Boyz...at least, for the moment. By next week, they're old news for everyone but Ron. Meanwhile, it's Senor Senior Junior's birthday and he only wants one present: to be a pop singing sensation. So guess who gets kidnapped from their sparsely attended concert?

There's a lot of ground that's been covered here before. For one thing, the idea of snobby boy band members and their insane demands reminded me of the hilarious opening of Josie and the *****cats. Also, there's the barely scrupulous associate of the kidnapped parties who could care less about getting them back that inspires memories of, among other things, Ruthless People. In addition, there seems to be a distinct air of frivolity hanging over the entire episode. And yet...

This episode wasn't so bad. Sure, it's inconsequential and (even for this show) unbelievable, but I found it hard to dislike. In spite of its outbursts of utter silliness (the music video parodies, the ticklish mutant octopus, the Boyz using their dance moves to dodge laser blasts), "O Boyz" ended up fairly enjoyable. The guest voices (David Cassidy, N*SYNC's Lance Bass and Joey Fatone) don't really stand out, but do a fine job. The Seniors were funny, as usual, and the last scene had no real purpose than to leave a smile on the viewer's face. For this viewer, it succeeded.

"O Boyz" is far from a classic "Kim Possible" episode, but it is still quite entertaining.
