A series of robberies involving car parts has swept the world, and the man responsible for the wrong-doing...is a guy with a mullet from New Jersey who plans to create a super monster truck. Granted, it may not sound like much, but, I assure you, the resulting episode is terrific.

The success of this episode is, in large part, because of the title character. The way he talks, the air guitar solos, his catchphrase (which I'll try to avoid quoting)...it's all just great. And John DiMaggio throws himself completely into the role; he sounded like he was having lots of fun. (In fact, DiMaggio's casting in this role serves as a plant that is most amusingly paid off in a later episode, "Steal Wheels".)

Another thing I liked was the budding friendship between Ron and Felix (the always-terrific Jason Marsden). I liked that Felix was undeterred by his wheelchair-bound state; he feels like he can do anything (and does; the junkyard rescue is a particular highlight).

If I had to make a complaint, it would have to be Kim walking on eggsheels around Felix because of his 'condition'. It felt irritating and perfunctory, and the episode grinds to a halt during these moments.

"Motor Ed" is a great episode. Seriously, it is. (Oops. It couldn't be helped.)
