Remember the Pan-Dimensional Vortex Inducer? From "Ron the Man"? The item that Dr. Drakken and Professor Dementor were fighting over? Well, it seems that Drakken wants to finish what was started so long ago. He needs it to power his laser cannon for destructive purposes. It is around this time that he and Ron discover the wonders of cable television (A fad? Yeah, right!). Team Possible show up to stop the evil plans going down. Unfortunately, that darn cable installer plugged the cannon into the television and the characters are sucked into the world of cable.

Granted, this episode isn't operating with the most original of premises; within the last year, Timmy Turner and the Teen Titans have also gone channel surfing, literally. Speaking of Mr. Turner, that air of wackiness around "Dimension Twist" is reminscient of "The Fairly Oddparents". No surprise, given that an alumnus - Tracy Berna - penned the script. In a number of ways, this is kind of like "Channel Chasers", minus the potty humor and the leaden real world subplot.

Let's see: Rufus assists a cartoon mouse in defeating a vicious cat; rodents have to stick together. Ron ends up fleeing a stampede on the Simian Channel (yeah, that's not contrived). Shego makes some interesting new friends. Drakken shows up on some weird "Teletubbies"-type program, and Kim journeys through space in a red shirt (that can't be good).

More mayhem follows as the gang ends up crossing paths, and channels, with a medical program, a 17th century sitcom, an idiotic reality show (or is that redundant?) "The Fearless Ferret", a show about a globe-trotting female agent and the amusing, if questionable, "Evil Eye for the Bad Guy". I can't help but feel that they missed an opportunity by not including the show itself in the fabric of the TV universe.

Don't touch that dial; you'll enjoy "Dimension Twist".

P.S. Watch out for Mr. Sitdown.
