  Notes
  • Villains: Señor Senior, Sr. & Señor Senior, Jr.
  • Animation Production by: Toon City Animation, Inc.
  • One of five first season episodes altered post-release to include songs from the then-upcoming "KP" soundtrack. In this case: Aaron Carter's "Get Up On Ya Feet".
  • If you like to be picky, you can say this is the first time Drakken and Shego make cameos on the show. We see wanted posters of them in Kim's locker.

  •   Quotes
Francois: So, Ronald, your old barber, he was, um... how you say... somewhat "vision-impaired", yes?
Ron: No, he could see shapes -- kinda.

Señor Senior, Sr. (thoughtfully): Piranha... Why ever would I want... piranha?
Ron: To eat the good guys.

    Kim: Oh, Pinky Joe.

Ron: Look at me... What have I become?
Señor Senior, Jr.: I do not know. What?

Wade: Hey, Kim. How's Ron? Tell him I could *really* go for some lasagna. How 'bout stopping by Italy for me?

Ron: You've got doors that go-- that go "whoosh"!
Señor Senior, Jr.: I always wondered about the "whoosh"...
Señor Senior, Sr.: I like the "whoosh". It's the door saying "I am closed".

Kim: Oh, good... Missiles. I am *so* glad you told him to get missiles.

Señor Senior, Sr.: Ahhh, Kim Possible, my feisty teen--
Ron: Heyyy, you put in a lagoon!
Señor Senior, Sr.: The piranha won't be here 'til Monday, but, I assure you, the Koi have not been fed in days.

Kim: Never, *never* tell *anyone* to go out and buy "Spinning Tops of Doom".

Ron: You know what the worst thing is? Pleather doesn't breathe.

    Ron: Seniors! Hi.
    Amelia: Do I know you?
Ron (stuttering): I-- I'm Stop Ronnable-- Ron Stoppable.

Ron: So I made a few suggestions. Does that make it my fault?
    Kim: 100 percent.

SSS: My evil vow is this: I will send Europe back into the dark ages unless the Euro Alliance gives me... (menacingly) their nice little islands.
    Kim: "Nice. Little. Islands?"
SSJ: With the warm beach days and hot disco nights!
Wade: They are obviously new at the big-time villain thing.

Kim: If I said the Ron trouble is rising, would you come back with a story about a psycho rat?
Mom: No. But I might work in an I-told-you-so.

Kim: Your house sucks up so much power, it's causing blackouts all over Europe.
SSS: And these people without power, they are...inconvenienced?
    Kim: Very.
SSS: You see, Junior, how awful it is to be poor?

Ron: You know, I am so not talking to anyone ever again.

      Goofs
  • Ron got a haircut in this episode. At the end, he messed his around and it appeared exactly as it did before the haircut.
  • After changing out of the scuba gear, Ron is wearing his typical action gear (black shirt, cargo pants). Then, for the rest of the fight with Señor Senior, Sr., he's wearing his new outfit (blue shirt, pleather pants).
  • ^--Incorrectly yet correctly considered a goof. Looking closely Ron is not wearing his usual outfit. But he is not wearing his new one either. He is wearing a black shirt with blue pleather pants. So, it is still a goof in a way.
  • Ron and Kim go to Paris to get his cowlick fixed. After they get it fixed they come out of the shop, and in the first long shot of the store front Ron's cowlick is back, and in the second long shot it's gone again.
  • During Dr. Possible's (Mom) entire first line, her lower lip is shaded in.
  • When Kim says "Can you hack into the European grid?" the details on the Kimmunicator disappear.
  • The picture of Kim and Ron inside of Kim's locker is only present for one scene -- in the entire series. ^-- Perhaps Kim posted it as a reminder of how Ron used to be ("Yeah... I liked him better that way, too.").
  • When Ron comes back from "fighting" Junior, the ladder to his right has already been damaged beyond use, but it's whole again in the next shot -- just in time to be destroyed by a spinning top of doom.
  • After the whole spinning tops of doom thing, Ron gets his haircut back for a scene.
  • Just before the above, Kim's upper lip is momentarily flesh-colored.
  • Koi, even starved koi, aren't dangerous. They don't even have teeth. Of course, this could just be to emphasize SSS's inexperience, but when Rufus is fighting them to get to Ron and SSJ, one of the koi clearly has teeth.
  • Outside of Francois' shop, Haute D'Style, the bottom of Ron's shirt is red during the entire "Hair care is the center of the universe" discussion.
  • WHen Kim runs off with Ron's hat early in the episode, the bottom of Ron's shirt is red when he shouts "Give it, Kim!"
  • Most schools do not let students wear hats in class (They see it as a sign of disrespect), so Ron's plan would not work(Wearing the ski hat) ~sunny_girl~
  • When Ron comes back from "fighting" Junior, you can see tracks made by the "Spinning Tops of Doom", but in the next shot they dissapear. Also, there's a shadow on the wall on the other side of the doorway behind Ron, but in the next shot, it's gone.
  • ^The wonderful thing about cartoons are that unrealalistic things can happen for humor. My sister and I cracked up at the whole koi thing, which seemed to be the writers intent. The koi-teeth issue also seems to go hand in hand with the naked mole rat-too long tale issue mentioned in the goofs of the first episode.
  • ^MOST school's don't allow hats, at my school, it's entierly up to the teacher.
  • When Ron says "That's one scenario", the stripe on his right sleeve is colored to match the sky.
  • When the Co-Pilot says "Hey, cool haircut!", her upper lip is missing.
  • When Ron says "So you're saying I need a new wardrobe..." the v-stripe on his shirt is red.
  • Right before Francois says "They must harmonize", part of his nose is missing.

  •   Analysis
    I have an interesting theory.
I think that the whole "creating a monster" thing isn't the only thing that runs in the family. I also think that there is a "creating a villain" thing that runs in the family. For one thing, Kim created Señor Senior, Sr. and Señor Senior, Jr. when she decided to give Ron a new hairstyle, which in turn caused Ron to blab that they should become supervillains. Her dad caused Doctor Drakken to come to be when he, Chen, and Ramesh laughed at Drew. See? IT ALL FITS!
      -- Dr. Veeken
    Interesting Theory
That is interesting, except that SSS's house would have sucked the power out of Europe whether Ron and Kim had been there or not. They just would have found out about it a lot later. And it's not as though Ron's attitude has changed much by the time he mentions to triple-S that "a guy could take over the world from a place like this."
    RE:Interesting Theory
Would Senior really have listen to the old Ron? Ron's new hair stile may have been what got Senior to pay attention to him.
Senior: You see, Junior, how awful it is to be poor?
Ironically enough, Senior and Junior will find out later on in the series ('Triple S').
Tim: You could have at least kicked him[SSS].
Ironically, Kim kicks SSS in "Oh Boyz".
    The Ron Factor
One of the first few times Ron saves Kim's life. He throws a metal bar at one of the spinning tops of doom that was right behind Kim. He then pushes Kim out of the way as two spinning tops of doom collide with each other. Kim thanks Ron for it too.
Mrs. Dr. Possible and Kim both like the old Ron
At the beginning of the episode, Mrs. Dr. Possible questions Kim's intention of giving Ron a new look. When Kim realizes later that she liked the old Ron, her mom tells her she told her so. Obviously, Mrs. Dr. Possible has no problem with Ron being himself as does Kim, eventually.

      Cultural References
    .: .
Everything about the villains' lair was clearly influenced by Dr. No's.
Señor Senior, Sr.: The piranha won't be here till Monday, but I assure you, the Koi have not been fed in days.
After watching a WEEKEND of James Bond flicks, I finally found the cultural reference to a particular James Bond movie. About 3/4 of the way through "You Only Live Twice", Bond and a villainous henchman are fighting in a lair which has a lagoon full of ravenous piranha. Of course, the villainous henchman falls in and dies a death of eating.
SSS: I like the "whoosh", it's the door saying "I am closed".
The doors sound just like the doors in Star Trek when they open and close. Ricardo Montalban, who is the voice of SSS, played Khan in the original Star Trek series and in the movie "The Wrath of Khan".
Ron: You've got doors that go-that go 'whoosh'!
A nice nod to 'Toy Story', where Woody tries to make Buzz feel better about himself and one of his comments is, "You've got a helmet that goes-that goes 'whoosh'!"
