  •   Quotes
    Jim: Wow, vinyl!
Tim: I've heard about these, but I've never actually seen one before.
Jim: Let's rip 'em into MP3 files!

Ron: One down, 5,000 to go.

Ron: Wait! You're not halucinating! I'm a real loser!

Ron: Wade? How'd you find me? Do you have me microchipped or something?
Wade: Uh-- That's not important now.

Kim: Just last week, I foiled this super-freak that tried to flood Canada with a weather machine.
Nana: (turning down hearing aid) That's nice, dear...
Kim: "Nice"? The people of Saskatchewan thought it was a little better than "nice".

Drakken: No, Shego! This is a family matter. Nana-- destroy little "Kimberly Anne" Possible!
    Kim: (Shocked) That's really low.

Drakken: (mouth full) Nana Possible, you think your lemon squares are all that -- but they're not!

Kim: OK (pulls off fuzzy, green, comfy wool sweater) I'm gonna get a heat rash!!

Ron: (pseudo-suave) Hi. I'm Ron. (shouting) That's 'R' to the 'O' to the hiz-'N'! Yup yup!
Spring Break Girl: Gross. (shoves "loser" flyer into Ron's chest)
    Ron: Ohhh, harsh.
Spring Break Girl: That's the 'L' to the 'O' to the hiz-'ER'.

Drakken: Life begins at 65, you know!
Shego: Where are you getting this stuff, anyway?
Drakken: Read these brochures, Shego, they'll rock your world.

Shego: (laughing at Drakken's elderly zombie army) This is your army of youth? I think you missed by about 50 years, Doc!

Ron: You know, it's amazing. In one short day I managed to earn the socially challenged rep that it took me a lifetime to cultivate back home. Rufus, on the other hand, was named honorary mascot of five different sororities.

Drakken: Poor Kim Possible. Too bad you won't be around to see me control the minds of the world's elderly population. Which, by the way, is growing at ten percent each year.

Drakken: You know, you really should get that Lemon Square recipe from her. They're to DIE for.

Drakken: Let's get this party started old school, yo.

Ron:Yeah! Ron Stoppable off the heazy! I'm in, I'm chillin'(starts to do the robot) do the robot, do the robot (waves fist in circular motion in air) WHOO! WHOO!

      Goofs
  • If you go by production order, "Job Unfair" (212), where Drakken tries to take over the Great White North, comes after this episode (211), but Kim says it happened "last week".
  • When driving the ice cream truck, both of Shego's gloves are green.
  • If Ron wanted to become popular, why didn't he tell all of Rufus' fans that he was Rufus' owner? All he had to say was, "He's mine" and all the girls would flock all over him like when someone fawns over a baby.
  • When Kim's mom gets out of the car and says, "Now that wasn't such a bad ride", Kim says, "No, those last sixteen hours just FLEW by", but she still had her earplugs in when her mom said it so how did she hear it?
  • ^-- Ear plugs block out most, not all of the sound. So it's plausible that Kim could hear her mother.
  • When everybody but Kim sings "Camptown Races" in the car on the ride down, they sing, "Camptown Racetrack, 2 Miles Long." The correct lyric is "Camptown Racetrack, FIVE Miles Long."
  • In the Possible family van, Rufus jumps onto the driver's seat, next to the head rest, but on a close up shot of Rufus there is no head rest.
  • When the hypnotized Nana kicks Kim into the crates, the papers that Drakken gave Kim telling about her go flying out of her hands, however after sitting up in the crates, Kim pulls the papers out from behind herself.
  • Kim's earplugs are only there when she takes them out, yet they are large enough to be visible (at least in her exposed ear) in the previous close-up of Kim in the car.
  • How did Drakken get the biographical information about Nana Possible so quickly after finding out she was in his zombie army? Is he keeping a file on all possible Possibles after "Attack of the Killer Bebes" and "The Twin Factor"?
  • ^-- Perhaps Drakken was merely doing a background check on the members of his Q-Tip army, trying to figure out what, if any, strengths he could exploit (Like Nana and her kung fu background).
  • When Kim says "Nana, Drakken's getting away" the turtleneck part of her shirt is missing.
  • When Kim and the old folks are Jet Skiing, they get on the jet skis without any life jackets on, but then in the next scene, they do have them on, only to have them off again come the next scene.
  • It doesn't seem like the college students wanted anything to do with Ron, so how did they get his picture? Also, the picture looks like he was in his mission clothes and they hadn't seen him in them yet. And as someone pointed out in the analysis section, its the same photo from "Naked genius", which is a file photo and didn't seem like they knew his name or anything so how did they get it?
  • When Drakken is telling Kim about all of Nana's skills, he says that Nana is the first woman to complete the Navy's Underwater Demolition training. Assuming this is the US Navy, that training is also known as the U.S. SEALS, and no woman has passed this training program (yet).
  • ^-Very true. Bear in mind, though, that Nana Possible is a fictional person with a fictional personal history.
  • ^- Navy Seals was only named by President Kennedy after the 1960s. It was known as the Underwater Demolition Team before that (thus, the reference from KP would be correct, if Nana passed the qualification test when she was young). Thus it would still be accurate that no woman had passed the "Navy Seal" training.
  • If Nana calls Kim "Kimberly" why doesn't she call Jim and Tim "James and Timothy?"
  • How come Drakken didn't notice that that was Mr. Possible's mother if they were friends in Collage?
  • How come after Nana was no longer under mind control she didn't tell that Drakken was her son's friend in collage by the voice?
  • Response to how Drakken knows Nana Possible's history: Remember, Drakken is Dr/Mr. Possible's ex-best friend, so he'd be bound to know something about his ex-best friend's Mother. Perhaps Dr/Mr. Possible told Drakken all this stuff before the 'Bebe-robot-failure' incident. Or maybe they were friends longer than that and sometime in between those years, Drakken eventually found out.
  • -About the earplugs, they weren't really earplugs, more like corks, so why DID she hear her mom??
  • When Drakken learns his mind control frequency works on hearing aids, he announces that the ENTIRE elderly population will be under his control. My parents are both in their late 60's, and neither one of them wears a hearing aid, so Drakken wouldn't have any control over them.
  • --^Also, Drakken's Mother and (if he has one) his Father would've been at risk. If Drakken realized this, would he REALLY go through with his plan?
  • Not sure if this is goof or not, but Soon after Dr. Drakken tells Shego about how profitable the Ice cream truck could be, you cut to a scene of Rufus with Chocolate ice cream. Is this to imply that Ron or Rufus bought Ice cream from them and get fooled by the costumes?
  • Closed Captioning Error: When Dr. Drakken says,"Oh, snap!" close to the end of the episode, Closed Captioning says, "Oh, SNACK!" For the hearing impaired, this quote will look very stupid.
  • Some one asked why Ron didn't tell people that he owned Rufus, when girls were cheering for the mole rat. There are two problems with that. First: Ron doesn't see Rufus as a pet; he sees his little mole rat as being more like a son("Bueno Nacho" and "Mind Games"). Second: Ron probably thinks that would be shallow to use Rufus to get dates, but he does try to get Rufus' help to impress the ladies.

  •   Analysis
    DYN? #1
This episode marks the second time Kim and Ron have gone to Florida (the first time in "Low Budget").
    DYN? #2
Ron's asking if Wade has him "microchipped" (and the latter's evasive handling of the question) is a follow-up to Wade's admission in "Attack of the Killer Bebes".
    DYN? #3
By "The Cape" Drakken means Cape Canaveral, home to the Kennedy Space Center.
    DYN? #4
Ron's picture on the "Loser" flyer is the same picture from the news photo in "Naked Genius" (it's the second one shown, when Tricia is standing outside the mall).
    DYN? #5
Kim mentions the weather machine from "Job Unfair", saying she stopped it last week. "Job Unfair" premiered one week before this episode.
    DYN? #6
Drakken's Teen Slang dictionary contains readable definitions for such terms as "Abe", "All Dat", and "Ax" (a.k.a. "ask").
    DYN #7
A picture of Jim and Tim hangs above Nana's couch in the living room.
    Re: DYN #7
It's not just Jim and Tim, but Kim's entire family above the couch. Which leads one to wonder if (Mr.) Dr. Possible is an only child... or just Nana's favorite?
    DYN #8
A slow, instrumental version of 'Naked Mole Rap' plays when Ron gets soaked by Rufus' cannonball in the pool.
    Location
According to Wade's radar, the nursing home Nana has been moved to is in either St. Lucie or West Palm Beach County
    DYN? #9
This is the only episode where the pictures on the walls are clearly defined.
    Tracking device
If Drakken did tap into the MP3 players he would've gotten Jim and Tim. Another family member that "could've" been in trouble.1
Kim:You've never actually met my Nana...
It seems a bit farfetched that Ron would have never met Kim's Nana after knowing her for more then ten years.
    Re: Re: DYN #7
Since 'Showdown at the Crooked D', it's been revealed that Dr. Possible has a brother, Slim Possible.

      Cultural References
    Drakken: Not in the face!
A line taken directly from the Mel Brooks classic Blazing Saddles, where the same course of action is taken.
Drakken / Kim: "Your Nana is a bad grandmother..." "Shut your mouth!" "I'm just talking about Nana."
A nice little homage to Shaft, the world's baddest private eye. The movie's theme song contained a very similar line.
    Dr. Drakken: It's a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day!
This quote is from the classic Disney movie "Song of the South" which the ride Splash Mountain was adapted from.
Dad: You know what might take your mind off things? A good game of Strategories!
"Strategories" is an amalgam of several games: The name is presumably a cross between "Stratego" and "Scategories". Kim calls the racecar, a popular Monopoly piece. Kim later "takes 'Science and Nature' for the block", "Science and Nature" being a Trivial Pursuit category, and "taking [insert name here] for the block" a trademark of Hollywood Squares (itself a variation on Tic-Tac-Toe).

The scene where Kim is chsing Drakken and Shego on rocket skates, Shego drops ice cream on the street so kids can block Kim's path, knowing Kim won't run over them. In Robobop 3, the bad guys drop money on the street so kids can block Robocop's path, as they are being chased.
