  Notes
  • Villain: Falsetto Jones
  • Animation Production by: Rough Draft Korea Co., Ltd
  • Half-length (11-minute) episode. First aired with "Adventures in Rufus-Sitting".
  • This episode and "Adventures in Rufus-Siting" are the first 11 minute episodes in Disney Channel history!
  • Along with "Adventures in Rufus-Sitting" this is the first episode that does not have a moral to the story. Neither Kim nor Ron learns a life lesson.
  • ^--Actually, Ron does learn not to feed Bueno Nacho to a champion show dog.

  •   Quotes
Kim: And the pond is filled with -- don't tell me. Sharks? Crocs?
    Wade: Electric eels, actually.
Kim: The bad villain puns just write themselves: (Imitating Falsetto) "Shocking, isn't it?"

Judge: I'm, eh, still not seeing anything here in the official--
Ron: Maybe you should consult with my friend Mr. Lincoln. See if he can help improve your eyesight a bit, if you -- y'know -- catch my drift.
Kim: Ron! This is a prestigious international competition.
Ron: And I'm speaking the prestigious international language of cold hard cash!
    Kim: Five dollars is hardly--
Judge: Ah, yes! Here it is. A Hairless Peruvian. Very good. (Pockets money)

Ron: Usually the bad guy says his lame pun and walks out.

Kim: You're really breaking a supervillain tradition here.

Kim: (discovering diamond vault) And Bingo was his name-o!

Falsetto: I think you'll find this quite shocking.
    Kim: Called that one.

Kim: Two parts wet, one part dry, a sprinkle of... Ron!

    Ron: The name's Van Fokerdumple--[clears throat]--stein. Doctor Van Fokerdumple--[clears throat]--stein.

Kim: There he is-- Falsetto Jones.
Ron: Why do you think he's called "Falsetto"?
Falsetto Jones (speaking in a very high-pitched voice): Welcome humans and canines alike to my annual Dog Show!
    Kim: Freak helium accident.
    Ron: Ouch!

Ron: Of course, there's a time for spirit, and a time for LAYING LOW!

Ron: Sorry, K.P. The low profile thing didn't exactly work out.

Ron: Ok! You can hit the button for the parachute any time now.
    Kim: Sorry. No parachute.
    Ron: NO PARACHUTE?!

Falsetto:(of Rufus) He's a Naked Mole Rat. Purchased at the Middleton Smarty Mart by a Mr. Ron Stoppable, sidekick to teen hero, Kim Possible. I ran a check on his autograph.

      Goofs
  • Kim's left glove appears and disappears as she lands on Sam's boat.
  • Ron pays off the dog show judge with a BLUE 5 dollar bill.
  • When Kim is being told what to feed Gigi, the red can flips from one hand to the other and then back again.
  • When Kim swings out from under the bridge overhanging the eel moat, she turns on a pair of jet-powered rollerblades. This is called a stealth suit, right? Not very stealthy, is it? And also, how come the guards didn't hear the rockets when Kim was going across the roof right over them?
  • If the stealth suit transforms from a dress and Wade was wearing one, doesn't that mean he put on a dress?
  • ^-- Funny concept, but since their suits obviously weren't identical (size difference, for one thing), we can't assume that Wade's was also given the ability to convert itself from/into an evening gown.
  • ^ - Another question, why IS Wade wearing a stealth suit? Why would he need one? He never leaves his room!
  • ^- No good reason why Wade's also wearing a stealth suit, except it's a great sight gag!

  •   Analysis
    Naked Mole Rap
An instrumental version of Naked Mole Rap plays once again when Rufus is in action.
    Teamwork
The way Kim and Ron work together in this episode to escape Falsetto's mansion is so well choreographed. It's almost like they move together as one. I hope we'll see more teamwork like that in the future.
    Kim's Head-Shape Changed!!!
In October 31st when the centurion project covered Kim's head to was a circle; but, in this episode, when the stealth-suite covers her head, it's less circular.

      Cultural References
    None: Title of Episode
"Rufus in Show" could be a parody of the movie title "Best in Show" which focuses on the eccentric dog owners who enter their dogs in a nation-wide dog show.

[ ^-- It might also be a reference to dog shows in general, "best in show" being the highest honor awarded at such an event. ]

    Kim: "Hit it Sam."
Line often spoken by "Hondo" Harrelson to the unheralded sixth member of the team--Sam, the driver of the S.W.A.T. van.
Judge: I'm sorry, what breed did you say this was?
    Kim: Um... a... Peruvian...
    Ron: Hairless!
Believe it or not, the Peruvian Hairless (a.k.a. the Inca Hairless) is an actual breed of dog. All things considered, however, one wonders if the writer was aware of this.
      More Info
    none: none
In the first 'Charlie's Angel's' movie, Cameron Diaz's character uses a white hooded stealth suit and some athletic cheerleader flips to break into a top secret vault.
Ron: I'm just gonna' throw a number out-- 2 hundred and fitty
The two fitty thing is most likely a rephrase of the, "Lock Ness Monster's three fitty" in South Park, meaning 3 dollars and fifty cents, or in this case, two hundred and fifty dollars.
