  •   Quotes

Drakken: Commodore Puddles, not now, can't you see Daddy's trying to put the finishing touches on his shrink ray?
Shego: He needs to go out.
Drakken: He was just out ten minutes ago.
Shego: Now, what did we agree on?
Drakken: *sigh* If I wanted a dog I had to promise to take care of him.

Agent 1: We couldn't allow the public to see the Area 51 footage.
Agent 2: So we switched it with one of your home movies.
    Ron: Home movies? Which one?
(cut to Ron in his early years) Young Ron: I maka poty!
    Kim: Ron's big day?
    Ron: Ron's big day.

Kim: Thanks for the lift, Special Agent Smith and Special Agent Smith.
Smith #1: Dont mention it. The way you helped us with that security breach...
    Kim: No big, I just--
Smith #2: No, seriously. Don't mention it.

Ron: That would be the coolest shot ever... if it weren't for the 2000 ton poodle that has been unleashed into an unsuspecting world.

Gen. Simms: I'm initiating the base's self-destruct system. The secrets contained in Area 51 must *never* be exposed!
Ron: What secrets? *Everybody knows already*!

    Kim: Flying saucers!
    Ron: Alien technology!
    Gen. Simms: Yada, yada.
Kim: But that means all the rumors are true.
Gen. Simms: Every last one of them. We've implemented a double-negative cover story. We make sure *only* to leak out information that is one-hundred percent accurate.
Ron: But then it's not really secret!
Gen. Simms: That's exactly what we want you to believe.

Gen. Simms: I'm initiating the base's self-destruct system. The secrets contained in Area 51 must *never* be exposed!
Ron: What secrets? *Everybody knows already*!

Drakken: I will soon be the size of a microscopic particle! So watch where you step, okay?

(Rufus stalks the miniature city, snorting and growling, grabs a taco and starts munching on it)
Ron: Cut! Rufus, you can't keep breaking character like that! (sigh) I'm gonna have to recast ya, buddy.

Drakken: No fair! I call cheatsies!

    Kim: There's this monster poodle-
    Soldier: Name?
    Kim: Commodore Puddles.
    Soldier: YOUR name.
    Kim: Oh, uh Kim Possible.

      Goofs
  • Holy Jon Lee, what's happened to Commodore Puddles? Last time I checked ["KN"], he was white-furred...and now he's PINK?!
  • Maybe he's the NEW AND IMPROVED Commodore Puddles. No, really, maybe people want to think he is a cute puppy, but he is, on the inside, a vicious one.
  • Why does Kim have a seatbelt in her shoe?!
  • ^-- Why does Kim have a miniature helmet in her shoe? It makes for a fun image, and may even be a playful jab at the sort of rules that require such common safety measures be observed (for the sake of impressionable kiddies), even when it's awkward to do so.
  • In this episode Commedor Puddles is all nice and cute and huggable and in Kimmination he is all scary and ferocious and not huggable.
  • If the information the government release as rumors is 100% accurate, why would they object to Ron showing the tape? I mean, wouldn't the audience just think it's a sci-fi film instead of actually being real? (I mean, come on - a giant poodle?)
  • Response to the whole thing about Commodore Puddles' new colour: Commodore Puddles couldn't belong to Drakken or Shego because how would they be able to take care of him if they were trying to taking over the world all the time? CP probably belongs to one of Drakken's henchmen and maybe sometime offscreen, while giving CP a bath, he must've accidentally poured something in the tub that caused his fur to become pink.
  • Maybe it was Drakken's Birthday before this episode and that henchman gave him CP (though, obviously, he and Shego gave him back after this episode).

  •   Analysis
    DYN? #1
A modification of the desert setting seen in "The Twin Factor" and "Two to Tutor" is used for the establishing shot of Drakken's Mohave lair.
    DYN? #2
There are scientists from GJ working at Area 51.
    DYN? #3
An alien in one of the containment tanks picks its nose.
    DYN? #4
The short, round local from "Low Budget" can be seen running away from Commodore Puddles in the trailer park.
...Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?
...Doesn't Ron seem a bit old for that video? He looks about 8! --KimPossibleRocks
    DYN? #5
The shout of "SEMPER FI!" among the soldier's cheers, a nice nod to R. Lee Ermey [Gunnery Sergeant, USMC (retired)], the voice of General Simms.
    DYN?
Agent Smith and Agent Smith are examples of MIB's (Men in Black) supposedly undercover government agents sent to silence people who have witnessed UFO's.

    RE: DYN? #5

This is a bit odd since Area 51 is controlled by the Air Force if I'm not mistaken("Semper Fi" is a Marine slogan).

      Cultural References
    None: None
The shrink ray switching gears and making things larger is reminiscent of Disney's "Honey I Blew Up the Kid", the 1992 sequel to "Honey I Shrunk the Kids".
    None: None
Kim tieing up Commodore Puddles' legs with her grappler cable, causing him to fall, is a direct reference to Empire Strikes Back; Luke and his co-pilot fire their grappler cables from their Snow Speeder to entangle the legs of an AT-AT, thus tripping the large machine and forcing it into the snow.
    None: None
In the shots from "The Twin Factor", "Two to Tutor", and "Rufus Versus Commodore Puddles", there is a cactus shaped just like Mickey Mouse's head!

[ My vote: "wishful thinking". ]

None: Commodore Puddles Lapping Up Water in the Swimming Pool
A nice, quick homage to the scene in *The Lost World* where a T-Rex is unleashed in downtown LA and, at one point, begins lapping up water from a swimming pool.
None: Vibrations in glass of water
The vibrations in the glass of water are a reference to a scene in *Jurrasic Park* when two kids in a jeep see vibrations in a glass of water that indicates that the T-Rex is coming.
    Kim:: "Agent Smith..."
The two Agent Smith's wear similar clothes to The Matrix's Agent Smith. Figures, they have the same name/s... ;)
    None: The Entire Episode
The entirety of this episode is a satirical homage to the classic B-movie classics of enlarged animals, including, but not limited to: Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957), Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959), The Giant Gila Monster (1959), The Killer Shrews (1959), and The Giant Spider Invasion (1975).

None: Area 51 and alien stuff

The lab, the floating saucers and the aliens in tubes are very much like the ones in movie: Independence Day.

    none: none

Actually, in the picture below, the cactus at the bottom right is almost exactly the same shape as the "Disney Channel" logo in the bottom left. Granted, there are cacti that can grow in that shape, but it's pretty funny that it matches the logo...
