| It's monster truck madness when mulleted Motor Ed and his gang steal car parts to create the most serious set of wheels ever. Kim needs the help of wheelchair bound Felix, who's not as fragile as she tries to treat him. |
|
| Villain: Motor Ed
Animation Production by: Starburst Animation Co., Ltd.
Motor Ed says "Seriously" exactly 20 times in this episode, seriously.
Wade can type 320 words a minute! |
|
Ron: (on fairground ride) I am well-y in the belly!
(A little while later, coming off the ride)
Ron: Kim? I'm...crummy in the tummy....
Felix: Ooh, you're going down, Stoppable!
Ron: Not if I accidentally press the resest button!
Kim: Felix, you stand watch.
Felix: You mean sit watch.
*Kim claps her hand over her mouth*
Felix: Kim, I'm just playin' ya.
Felix: Another dud from 'oh yes, he is in fact' Stoppable!
Kim: It looks like you're really trying to..
Ron: Win?
Kim: But you can't!
Ron: Look, I know I'm down two buckets but I figure if I really focus...
Kim: No, I mean you're treating him like-
Ron: He's just a normal person?
Ron: The clown sued.
Ed: MY VALVE! SERIOUSLY!
Kim: (To Ed) Quit calling me 'Red'! (imitates him) Seriously!
Ed: But... Red!
Kim: I'm a cheerleader, waiting for a guy with a mullet to call... Something's wrong with this picture.
Wade: (of Motor Ed) He's not as dumb as the hairstyle leads you to think.
Felix: (of Ron) Does he always lose focus like this on a mission?
Ron: What?
MHS: Spelling tutors kneaded
Motor Ed: Your skinny dude?
Felix: Typical night for you guys?
Ron: Actually, it is.
Kim: I need to borrow your tricycle thingy.
Ron: (shouting from bleachers) All terrain vehicle!!
Ed (To hairdresser who tried to cut his mullet): EXIT MY LAIR! Seriously!
Motor Ed: Don't you even want to know my plan, I mean, c'mon, seriously?
Kim: I thought this was just random destruction!
Motor Ed: I'm going to crush stuff, and keep on crushing it until I've turned the whole world into one humungous, rocking scrapyard!
Kim: Sounds a lot like random destruction.
Kim: Where's Ron?
Motor Ed: He's here, hangin' with me and the guys. He's doin' good, but that can change. In a hurry. Seriously.
Jim: Put me down or I'll tell Mom you blew off your biology report to save a village from a tidal wave last week.
Ed:I win! WA-NA-NA-NA WA -NA-NA-NAAA!!! |

When Kim is giving chase riding the ATV, she uses her right hand to talk to Wade and throw the comb. Pretty stupid since throttle is on the right.
More of a nitpick than a goof... Motor Ed starts off "playing" air guitar as a left-handed person would, but then later on, he switches to doing it as a righty would in at least one shot.
how did Ed know Kim's phone number if he did'nt even know her name.
When Kim and Ron are on the ride, you can see that Kim starts off in her pink outfit. Her outfit then switches to her turquoise and black one, and then back to her pink one.
^-- Motor Ed could have gotten Kim's number from a phone book or simply asked Ron. I mean, he was right there, seriously.
At one point when Kim is standing in front of the Tilt-a-Whirl her hair is reversed- a flipped cell sort of thing.
When Felix, Ron, and Kim are escaping from the evil lair when ron also says, "ok, i'll try one of those, Hoagies..." Kim's eyes are blue.
We know from "Attack of the Killer BeBes" that the Possibles are listed in the phone book.
When Kim tells Motor Ed "Quit calling me 'red.' Seriously," the closed cationing does not show that she was imitating him. That's a shame because only those of us who aren't deaf or hearing impaired would know this. On episodes of Daria it was common for the closed captioning devices to show that one character imitated another, like Jane imitating Quinn or Brittany for example.
^-- They would only be listed in the Middleton phone book and Motor Ed resides in New Jersey.
the text on the box that supposedly contains the "turbonic charger valve" moves from the center to the right during the wind tunnel scene.
the "turbonic charger valve" case seems to change color from a light grey to a distinct green before and after the wind tunnel scene.
during the wind tunnel scene, when kim says "nobodys going to be happy when that crate is opened" her eyes are brown.
In Steal Wheels we learn that Ed is Drakken's cozen, so why didn't Wade find that info in his research?
--^Maybe Wade did find that information, but he thought it wasn't important for Kim to know that.
Kim uses her left hand to hold the chopsticks when she's eating with Ron and her dad at the kitchen table.
NITPICK: Kim Possible is a world-reknown freelance troubleshooter. So it's amazing that she could be rescued THREE TIMES, AND beaten to the capture of Motor Ed, by a KID IN A WHEELCHAIR...without her ego being damaged beyond repair. After this episode, I found myself wondering if Ron and/or Felix have considered going into the teen-superhero business for themselves. Neither of them seems to NEED Kim; they quite often wind up saving her AND the day. Seriously.
^-Remember, Ron and Kim's relationship isn't based on their need for each other, but the love they have for each other. So Ron would never strike it out with Felix, because he wants to save the world with Kim. By the way, I'm not suggesting a romantic K/R relationship by using the word "love".
--^Also, in the first few episodes of the series, Kim saves Ron and Ron returns the favor by saving her back, so yes, I agree that it's just out of their love for each other. |

The Mod Quad
When Kim comes home, the show that the tweebs are watching on television is "The Mod Quad", first seen in "Fearless Ferret".
Woah...
Kim actually picks up Jim to get the answer out of him. Isn't that a bit violent? We've never seen Kim do that before.
DYN?
Ron's expression as he gets sick on the amusement park ride (in his flashback) is exactly like his expression in his second file photo from Naked Genius.
DYN
Felix Renton, the wheelchair bound friend that helped Kim, is voiced by Jason Marsden, who coincidentally voiced Extreme Ghostbusters's Garett Miller, who is also wheelchair bound!
Motor Ed: Seriously
Motor Ed's constant saying of "seriously" is very much like Adrena Lynn's "freaky" and the Xtreme Xmas' guy's "extreme"
Ron's Muscle-less self
This is the second time Ron's been refered to as, "The skinny dude", once by Brick Flag and this time by Motor Ed. He was also called, "Small and weak" by Mr. Barkin. Anyone else feel for the poor dude?
RON DRIVES!!!!!!!!!!!
While he never got his license on the show, he sure knows what he's doing when he hops in the DRIVER'S SIDE of Motor Ed's monster truck!
RE: woah!
Personally, I found this whole ep to be a bit violent: 1) Ed kicks the driver out of the monster truck at the show. 2) He pushes Kim off of the moving Tow truck 3) He pushes Kim into a wall. 4) Motor Ed gets thunked in the face with the 'automatic turbo valve' 5) Kim drives Motor Ed into a stoplight
Music
During Ron's flashback and the wind tunnel scene, music from "All the News" can be heard.
Re: Woah...
Actually, I wouldn't exactly call that violent. Intimidating, perhaps. For instance, if she were trying to intimidate a taller person, she would likely just get in that person's face, whereas by picking him up she gets in his face and lets him know how strong she is. Now, if she had picked him up by the neck with one hand...THAT would be violent.
Re: re: Whoa...
Sure, this episode is a little bit violent, but it's certainley not as violent as 'A Sitch in Time'! Here are just a few examples of what happend in 'ASiT'; there are many more: 1. A pole falls on Shego's head. 2. Jim and Tim blew up a wall of the Attitude Adjustment Center to get in. 3. The stone guardian of Satsuma almost crushes Kim and Ron--both present K/R and pre-teen K/R. 4. Ron throws Drakken across the room. 5. Kim knocks Shego out a window.

Moter Ed: Don't cut my hair!
Moter Ed refuses to cut his hair. The biblical story of Sampson relates to this. He wouldn't cut his hair because it gave him strength. In the end, Delilah cuts his hair. Delilah was also the name of the hairstylist Moter Ed fires.
Kim/Ron/Motor Ed: Wind Tunnel Battle
Kim and Ron's battle with Motor Ed in the wind tunnel is copied from a sequence from Jackie Chan's "Armour of God II," released in the US as "Operation Condor". More Info
Motor Ed: all references
New Jersey is not a bad place but all that is shown on tv seems liek its a dump. Most of the state, except for Newark and a few other parts, are actually farmlands. Please, don't get the wrong impression of New Jersey!
none: none
During the Monster truck scene, Felix and Ron are talking about which game is better, Zombie Mayhem 2 or Zombie Mayhem 3. It is similar to Resident Evil games, which at that time was up to just Resident Evil 3.
Motor Ed: "Business up front, party in the back, and it's the calm before the storm."
Ed describes how he wants his mullet cut. This phrase defining the mullet, originated in the movie "Cool Hand Luke" as: "Business in the front, party in the back."
none: none
The scene where Motor Ed's crew tricks the driver of the experimental race car into stopping by using a fake stop light in the middle of the desert is a reference to a similar scene in the Mel Brooks movie "Blazing Saddles". |
