Ron: Gross, monkey plug!
Shego: Believe me, doc;you scare me just the way you are.
Drakken: Are you being sweet or sarcastic, I never can tell.
Ron: Rufus, you've got a combover!
Puppet: You're a meany.
Drakken: Am I? Well, get used to it!
Kim: You got cable? Your dad finally gave in?
Ron: He thought it was a fad.
Shego: I can't believe that you are just now getting cable.
Drakken: I thought it was a fad.
Ron: So…many…channels.
Ron: Oh, they have cable!
[Kim glares at Ron with anger]
Ron: Maybe I'll stick to playing video games for a while.
Puppet: Do you see something blue?
Drakken: Um, hello. [points to himself]
Puppets: Happy Blue Day!
Shego: This is so worse than mooppy.
Ron: …oh, wait. "Cooking with Cactus" is on next.
Kim: Nice wig, Miss Tries Too Hard!
Drakken: Put a ham in it, ya little jabbermittens!
Shego (to Dr. Drakken): I blame you for this.
(In That 1670s Show)
Shego: Back off, Barn Boy! (Flares her hands)
Villagers: A witch!
Shego: What?
Ron: (as talk show host) Um... and we are back. I'm Ron and we are talking to... Doctor Drakken who is...
Draaken: Here... to talk about (reaches behind him) this book!
Ron: Your book?
Draaken: Apparently.
Ron: Ooh, great! What's it about?
Draaken: Um, me. It's about me.
Ron: Y'know, you've been threatening to write a book for a while; can you tell us more?
Drakken: Well, I... I rather like me... (channel changes)

| The bands on Kim's arms when she is in the Star Trek parrody change from gold to black to gold
In this ep, the Pan Dimensional Vortex Inducer is red and yellow, but in "Ron the Man" it was grey.
I could be wrong on this one, but I thought I saw the pager that Kim was wearing move from her right hip, to her left more than once.
Ron lost his pants before he entered the portal. But when he came out from the banana cabin, his pants are on.
In the Hospital scene, Kim's midriff goes from skin-colored, to the same color as her hospital scrubs, and back to skin colored. |

The ***** Eye Parody
Notice the guys who do the ***** Eye parody in this episode. Notice how they themselves are also gay, from their way of speech and actions.
DYN?
In the beginning of the episode, when Kim is swinging on the grappling hook, in one shot she appears in front of the camera in a pose similar to one from "Mind Games".
Ron Keeping Secrets
When Ron conceded not being able to keep a secret when asked by Kim he was very nonchalant about it. Up to this point Kim still doesn't know what Ron did in Japan during "Exchange". So Ron either wasn't thinking about it at the time or he was just acting casual to keep his cover. Kim may not realize it, but we know that Ron can keep a secret.
Where's the Prof?
It's interesting that the writers decided to bring back the Pan-Dimensional Vortex Inducer, yet Professor Dementor and his goons were nowhere to be found. I guess even villains need a break every once in a while. (Except Drakken and Shego. They always seem to be up for a little bit of world conquest. At least, Dr. D does.)
Disco from the "Alias"-type show
Not only does the disco look almost exactly like Senor Senior Jr.'s Club Lair from "Coach Possible", the music is also the same as in the disco scenes in that episode.
Overlap
Interestingly enough, when Wade tells Kim that the shows are beginning to overlap, the game show they are all on is a cross between two game shows: Hollywood Squares and $10,000 Pyramid.
Nice apron, Shego.
In Pals, Shego wore the exact apron she used to wore in The Twin Factor.

Drakken: Evil Eye for the Evil Guy
Pun from the Bravo show, ***** Eye for the Straight Guy/Girl.
TV announcer: The Running of the Monkeys
The Running of the Monkeys is a reference of the annual Running of the Bulls' festivals during the Pamplona Festival in Spain .
None: None
The 1670's show they got sucked into was an obvious reference to That 70's Show.
Kim: You were on "Pals"? I love that show!
A parity of the show "Friends".
Ron: Princess_Zelda
Towards the end of the episode when the monkeys are running into the portal, it shows Ron fall out of the tree he was holding and onto the stampeding Monkeys, in a very similar way to Mufasa falling onto the stampeding wildebeast in The Lion King.
Kim: Kim says something about "trying too hard" with the wig
Kim fights another woman and then says they should be fighting 'them' (the bad guys). It must be Alias because Jennifer Garner's character wears a lot of disguises.
Kim: Am I missing something here?
Lots of injokes. When the starship captain says "brace for impact", the crew fall all over the place, but Kim remains standing and says "Uh, am I missing something here?". She didn't act like the ship was hit. Because, in real life, the ship (set) wasn't really hit and the actors all had to pretend it was hit and fall over the furniture.
None: The Premise
The premise of this episode borrows strongly from a 1992 movie called Stay Tuned starring John Ritter.
Kim: . . . a red shirt?
Throughout the entire original run of "Star Trek", each episode featured at least one crew member wearing a red shirt getting killed. This fact was also parodied in "Family Guy", which had a clip from a fictitious "Star Trek" episode wherein the red shirt knew full well that he was going to die, and wasn't too happy about it.
Kim: "Red shirt?"
Well... it goes a bit deeper than that. You see, it was the "hang" at the time.. and Security all wore Red Shirts on the show. Desilu productions (IIRC) had access to a LOT of red velour, so most of the extra's clothing was crafted of that fabric.... the shirts/minidresses anyway. Well, if you were a toss-away extra (As opposed to an extra who had a plot point- and by ghu, that was no guarantee of survival) you were dressed in red. Well, dramatically, how better in the 60's to start an adventure with somone dying in a painful fashion? And since they had al those shirts... An innocent clothing factor became legend in Star Trek circles. It should be noticed that some series regulars wore red, and never boughtthe Starbase... only Extras did. Thus, Kim was never in danger-- it's HER show after all!
Guy: You've been voted out of the igloo.
A parody of CBS's Survivor tv show.
None: Fear Factor
The bungee jump off a skyscraper is clearly a reference to "Fear Factor".
None: Scamper & Bitey
Fairly straightforward parody of Tom and Jerry.
none: The 'Real' North Pole
Another fairly straightforward parody, this of "The Real World."
Space Commander: "Welcome aboard, Ms. Enson"
The commander of the "Star Trek" parody in this episode refers to Kim on occasion as "Ms. Enson". Traditonally on Star Trek, character extras (particularly the ones doomed to a red shirt and a mission death) were only given last names, the most common and well-known (among Trekkers) being "Enson". Usually no character, given only a last name, a red shirt, and assigned to a mission, lived to see the end of the episode, a theme often joked about in Star Trek parodies particularly "Galaxy Quest". Also, among Star Trek fans, character extras that wore red shirts, had only a last name, and that met their respective ends on missions are commonly called "Ensons" for easy reference.
Captain: Ensign
You mean 'Ensign'. It's a title of rank, like Captain or Lieutenant. It's the lowest rank in the officer corps.
Ron: The perfect Naco
Ron says "The perfect Naco" very similar to Goofy saying "The perfect cast" in A Goofy Movie which is also done by Disney
Ron: The Perfect Naco
He refers the fact that all the food of comercials looks perfect, in reality food never looks as good as in publicity.
Captain: Take evasive action!
In K.P. when the Captain yells this on the Star Trek like show and the crew pretend to be hit it is just like in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. When Han, Leia, Chewy, and C-3PO are escaping in the Millenium Falcon in the beginning of the movie and they shoot at the Emperial Guards ship, the men in there say "Take evasive action" and then fall over in the ship.
